SEA GULLS’ NEST
SEA GULLS’ NEST
GPS USAGE
If using a GPS to get to Sea Gulls’ Nest, you will need to use your ‘points of interest’ (POI) guide that comes with most GPS units. Locate ‘Sandy Hook LIghthouse’ in Highlands, NJ and use that as your final destination. The GPS should guide you to Sandy Hook, and hopefully get you inside the park. There is only one road that enters the park, and this is the road that Sea Gulls’ Nest is located on.
As you are directed by your GPS towards the Sandy Hook Lighthouse, you will first need to pass by Sea Gulls’ Nest. We are located 2 miles from the entrance of Sandy Hook. You will first pass by some smaller parking lots and some small one story buildings. However, you will then see a very large parking lot on your right hand side, and you will see a two-story cedar shingle building with a canopy roof. Sea Gulls’ Nest is the top level of this two-story building.
(If you reach the ranger station with the yellow flashing lights you have gone too far!)
